Realtors has a National Code of Ethics. professional organizations, local and national code of professional conduct all subscribe.
Most Realtors follow and comply with the Code, however, like in any profession there are some who do not.
It here are a few brokers that public trust ratings just above that of salesmen.

Red:
A Brokers are not going to demean any other company. If you hear Brokers say things like, “well nothing is working with the company.” Or “Nobody will work fixed fee schedule.” These comments are not only contrary to the Code of Conduct, but they are also against the Federal Fair Trade and Anti-Monopoly Act. Thisis a very serious offense may warrant a loss of license and possible jail time.
Red Two Flag:
A brokers tell you he can sell your home with a higher price from the market indicates. Code states that Realtors shall avoid exaggeration and over inflating the sale price is only for your listing. A higher price for your home is music to your ears but if you really want to just sit on the market?
Be more cautious than the list price. Overpricing does not sell the house and Brokers Code violations.

A broker solicits your listing if you have already registered with another broker. Code specifically prohibits brokers from deliberately ask you when your listing is displayed with another company.

A broker notifies you that the real estate commission is a percentage fixed by law. Not true. A commission is determined by what sellers are willing to pay. A Broker may refuse to work less than six percent, that’s up to them. You are not required to pay a set percentage or a fee.
Any from any attempt to obtain unfair advantage of you or their competitors is a violation of national codes. Flag
Red Five: Brokerage
A pressure to quickly sign a contract you do not want you to have time to think about it.
Brokers spend much time in class or who teaches them how to cover, how to get your autograph. Nothing wrong with that, but you have the right to “sleep in” your decision.
Don’t intimidated into signing before you’re ready.
Summary:
Be sign red flag with five. If the broker shows a behavior, running away, do not walk, run from the broker you feel this show behaviors.
