Operation: One Shot, One Thrill!
Many of our Service Members are looking for just one item to greatly improve their time overseas. Since OAP specializes in customized, individual support from home, we have started this list in an effort to help get these items to those that will benefit from their use while deployed. Used items in good condition are welcome! Thank you!
- If you have anyone that would donate one, I would like to have an iPod that can play videos. My daughter is playing sports and cheering in high school and they have podcasts that I can download and watch. I understand that it is a big request and do not expect it, but thought I would submit anyway. Thank you for all you do to support the troops.
- I really would like a computer (laptop). I am bettering myself by taking online classes. If not, I will be thankful for anything that is sent to me - thank you.
- PSP games and movies are another means of entertainment for the Marines here to pass around. Any sent would be truly appreciated.
- In what little spare time we get, we play Halo in our MWR tent, we have 2 xbox 360s that we use.
- We could use a few external hard drives, so that these Soldiers that have laptops and are going to school can save their homework and work assignments. So if you could please help out with these items then we would greatly appreciate it.
- UnderArmour Body fit long sleeves(Small)
- usb flash drives, knives, antiballistic sunglasses, head/helmet lights, and gerber multi tools . I know those are expensive items but they are the most useful to the soldiers I can think of. As a unit supply SGT I am experiencing the frustration of having my whole unit ask for those items and my BDE HQ telling me I cant order them for my soldiers. Anything you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
- I volunteer at the hospital here so toys for the children that are in the Hospital would really be nice.
- I have been trying to save up to buy a laptop so I can get some online schooling done while I am here, but can't seem to do it. I know its a lot to ask but if one happens to become available it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
- Any type of Wii games, xbox that anyone is willing to donate would be pretty cool for all the soldiers in our unit to play on off days. Thank you.
- I know this is a big request. I am currently going to school for Criminal Justice. I am in need of an external hard drive for my work and research. The vendor here at my location does not carry them and is unable to acquire one. Thanks so much for your help.
